Horizon for iPhone · Last updated October 12, 2026

Horizon is built so that your information stays on your iPhone. There is no Horizon server and no Horizon account. We do not collect, receive, sell or share your data.

What Horizon reads

Gmail

Horizon asks Google for read-only access to Gmail (gmail.readonly). It uses that access only to search for messages that look like bills, bookings or travel changes, and to read those messages on your iPhone.

Horizon’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Gmail data is not used for advertising, is not used to train AI models, and is not transferred to anyone.

Apple Intelligence

When Apple Intelligence is available, Horizon may use Apple’s on-device model to read a message or email. That processing happens on your iPhone.

Storage and deletion

Horizon’s data is encrypted on your iPhone with a key that never leaves it. Settings › Erase All Data in Horizon removes everything, including Gmail sign-ins. Deleting the app also removes it. You can also revoke Horizon’s Gmail access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Analytics

Horizon has no analytics, advertising or tracking.
